DEEPGROOVE ON FRIDAY 16TH...

Deepgroove (Klang Elektronik/Rekids)

Joined at the hip through a love of extreme partying and bad fashion, Deepgroove’s Lee Pattison and Grayson Shipley have been setting the world alight with their incendiary 4 Decks:Efx DJ Show and red hot productions.

Their sound has travelled the globe with props from everyone from Annie Mac, Pete Tong, Deep Dish, Steve Lawler, Dubfire, Medicine8, Tom Stephan, Jon Carter, Fatboy Slim, to Annie Nightingale, Seb Fontaine, James Zabiela and Nic Fancuilli.

2007 was a great year with Deepgroove fighting off stiff competition from the likes of Serge Santiago, Demi, Sinden, The Streetlife Djs and Jamie Jones to win DJ Magazine’s coveted new Best British Breakthrough DJ award. Consistent touring across the world throughout the year whilst having a strong presence in all the major UK clubs saw them smashing over 90 gigs to a growing fanbase.

2009 looks even more promising with signings to some of house music’s most influential labels and the further honing of their techno flecked, electronic signature sound.

ALWAYS FRIDAYS AND EGG HALLOWEEN PARTY

IIt's close to midnight and something evil's lurking in the dark, Under the moonlight you see a sight that almost stops your heart, You try to scream but terror takes the sound before you make it, You start to freeze as horror looks you right between the eyes, You're paralyzed... 'Cause this is Egg's Halloween bash with Lasermagnetic & KeToLoCo!

Join the Leeds techno rebels, KeToLoCo, as part of Egg's Halloween party, including a specially bespoke garden, transformed into "The Graveyard" for one night only! Expect slices of edgy house and intricate tech. Supplying said sounds alongside the usual ressies and two of 2020 vision's most in-demand representatives: AudioJack. You know the script by now: confabulated surrealism both music and behaviour wise, all dripping in glamour and excess.

Lasermagnetic are returning to the EGG on the 31st of October for a special Halloween party. This time they are joining forces with London's top bloggers Allez-Allez, who are also regarded as one of 2008 hottest up-and coming DJs. A live electronic set comes from one of the most in demand underground house and future disco acts, Spirit Catcher, the duo from Belgium. Keeping things in true Halloween style the boys promised to keep things spooky eclectic and electric, not forgetting to their mission to raise hell with underground disco, space, kraut, acid and proper house.

Since their releases on Silver Network, Moodmusic and a well recieved album on 20:20 Vision, and numerous remixes for in-demand leabels such as Freerange and Simple records, they guys have been touring all the major clubs around the world and Lasermagnetic are delighted to host their 'live set' for the first time!

Allez-Allez are Sam Willis and Steve Nolan. They are rapidly gaining a reputation as London's hottest up-and coming DJs. They promote Kompakt's London parties at Plastic People, which have seen them play alongside the likes of Michael Mayer, Superpitcher, Gui Borrato, Justus Kohncke, Thomas Fehlmann and DJ Koze. They have hosted and played alongside the likes of Nathan Fake, LCD's James Murphy, Optimo, Four Tet, Shackleton, Hercules & Love Affair and Clark amongst others They have also played twice at James Holden's legendary Border Community parties at The End.

Lasermagnetic has long-since established itself as the leading disco – orientated night in London, with a music policy that spans anything from cosmic, balearic and italo, to underground disco gems to space and nu-disco. Over the last couple of years Lasermagnetic have hosted events that have not only seen anyone from the scene guest for them (over 100/check their myspace pages), but they are regarded as they key drivers in the recent 'disco revival'. Gig-wise Lasermagnetic have played all over town, with regular appearances at Fabric and parties like Secretsundaze & Faith or festivals like the Big Chill. Both Johnny and Neil have taken their trademark sound to Finland, Holland, Lithuania, Germany, France, China and Japan many times over.
